We're hosting a contest to find the biggest A Different World fan. Hillman's MVA, Most Valuable Alum!

Biggest fan of A Different World? Show us! Whether it inspired you to go to an HBCU, modeled a ton of your experiences during your time, or made you wish you attended an HBCU, this show means a lot. Are you such a fan that if you had the chance to go to Hillman it would have been a wrap? Now's the time to let it out!

It's time to find Hillman's Most Valuable Alum! Tell us why you're the biggest fan of ADW and why you feel you would have been in the Hillman history books as the best of the best! Hillman's MVA will receive the prestigious title along with an IAS Games Prize Pack that includes a copy of the incredibly fun, first of its kind, HILLMAN THE GAME! Just in time for the holidays! From September 21st - October 21st we'll be looking for nominations on social media from anyone looking to claim their title with a photo or 60-second video post. We want to see your personality and hear your story Hillman style.

Public voting will open from October 22nd and close at 11:59 PM on October 29th.

Hillman's Most Valuable Alum Winner will be announced live from the HILLMAN THE GAME Instagram page on Sunday, October 31st! See official rules below.

HOW TO ENTER

Post one photo or 60-second video (max) between Tuesday, Sep. 21st thru Thursday, Oct. 21st 11:59 PM.
Nominate yourself or someone else from a valid social media profile on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or TikTok.
Make sure to use hashtags #hillmanmva, #adifferentworld, and #teamhillman on the post. Remember to tag @hillmanthegame with @iasgames to complete your entry into the Hillman's MVA contest.

RULES & RESTRICTIONS

Following platform posts will be accepted for entry: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tiktok.
Posts must be set to public - if we can't see it, we can't count it.
Posts must include #hillmanmva, #adifferentworld, and #iasgames hashtags to be considered
@hillmanthegame and @iasgames must be tagged in original post (ias_games on Twitter). Comment tags will not be accepted as contest entry.
Contest entries must be posted no later than 11:59 PM on October 21st, 2021.
Entry posts can self-nominate or nominate another person. Be clear as to who this is on entry posts.
Only one nomination per person is required for entry but you may have multiple posts to encourage voting.
Minimum of 10 votes are required to be a Nominee for Hillman's Most Valuable Alum. Participants with 9 votes or less will be considered Nah-Minees (see what we did there?) during the voting period.
Voting period will begin Friday, October 22nd, and end Friday, October 29th at iasgames.com/mvacontest. Comments will not be counted towards votes during voting period or at any time during the Hillman's Most Valuable Alum contest.
Must reside within the United States to receive the prize and title.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

We will announce the winner of the contest and Hillman's Most Valuable Alum during live stream on Sunday, October 31st at 7 PM ET from the HILLMAN THE GAME Instagram page.
Nominees are encouraged to be present to accept by joining the live but viewing the live stream is not required to win.
Prizes will be shipped by the 2021 holiday season no later than December 10th, 2021.
